Amy’s passionate desire to learn about and practice natural holistic ways of healing led her into the field of massage therapy. She graduated from the VA School of Massage in 2006. Over the last 20 years of practice Amy has learned a variety of techniques, which she integrates into her treatments based on her client’s expressed focus and needs. Some of her advanced areas of studies include: Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, and Passive Resistance Stretching.

Amy has been described on more than one occasion by her clients as having “magic hands,” primarily because of her ability to feel the tension in her clients. With a slow, intentional, and detailed approach, their muscle tension releases! She also discovered the great need to advance her training in Geriatric Massage, in which she gained the knowledge and experience to adjust her treatments to accommodate various age related conditions.

When she’s not massaging, Amy loves discovering new food recipes, tending to her garden, and adventuring in nature!
